Reflection 1-23

The mercy of Allah SWT abounds.

He made seven limbs touch the ground in sajdah to remind us of seven articles of faith that complete our submission to him. He made five fingers to remind us to fill our book of deeds with the five daily prayers.  He made five toes to remind us with every step that it is the five pillars that pave the way to Jannah.  He made two eyes to see ahead that our abode is one of two. And two ears, right and left, to remind us that everything from the East to West belongs to Him. He made one tongue to remind us that our discourse should be about Him, one mind to remind us to keep one focus. And He made within us one heart, so that with every heartbeat we can remember that we only have one true love. With so many constant reminder, the true wonder is how we forget.

Reflection 2-15

When you become real, you are able to see reality, to appreciate things for what they are. You no longer need drugs, wine, entertainment, or escapism, for these are veils. Reality is more beautiful unveiled.
